We are meeting from 3 to 5 pm Arizona time on Saturday, June 17. I will propose a common project that we can all work on together.
I also plan to connect with a power animal to assist with any necessary transitions away from our attachments to being a separate self.
The past three drumming journeys have been amazing. Each seemed to take up where the last one had temporarily left off. At first, I wasn’t sure anything would happen during the group journeys…I wasn’t in a comfortable position; I didn’t have an eye covering and there were distractions in the other room. It wasn’t the way I was used to journeying. I did, however, have Keshav’s words, “Stay here. Open your heart. Let the journey come to you. Let them come to you.”
So, closing my eyes and opening my heart, I accepted the invitation to meet the gathered spirit guides, power animals, and teachers. There were several to meet! I saw Owl in a tree and Quail on the ground. I saw Keshav and a couple of “hazy human form” teachers. I stood by Fire, an old and wise friend. Then, I remembered that Keshav recommended we interview the guides to discover who could help us. So, I talked with several power animals. They shared some helpful observations.
I talked with a few teachers, some old and some new.
Talking, listening, sitting in a quiet presence, time was timeless. They have always been here – here and now as have San Pedro, and my new friends Thistle and Nettle. I just reread this and noticed that I said I “met” them but there is a knowing that we have always known each other – always, all ways.
The Loon. It’s Voice. We went paddling on the Solstice on a deep cool kettle pond and watched the Loons from afar. One danced and splashed on the water, I assumed cleansing itself , but perhaps just splashing about because it could! Another I spied sitting on its nest platform, actually provided by humans and marked off with ‘Keep away!’ floating signs. Protection as they do themselves anyway. Their Voice echoes across the land, bouncing off the land. I took a quick dunk in the water because it’s officially summer, and their Voice rang out, it was so neat to hear that as I did. It felt ok to be there, we had chose to be far from them when we did. Then the next morning I was sitting on my front porch early morning journaling, and the Loons Voice traveled up the hill from a distant pond, but still notable. So I sit with Loon and listen, I also admire its B&W Ying Yang clothing. Namaste. Love.
Referring back to Keshav’s post on fear in March: My observation of mountain climbers, wall climbers, etc is that it is imperative that they be very focused on the task. Undoubtedly they are in Presence where something other than mind is informing them at every move. Watching skaters in competition it is easy to see that in Presence they skate seemingly flawlessly. When they make a mistake is it a thought that has disrupted the flow?
My intent is to use my gang of power animals to act as intermediaries to connect with spirit guides that can help us balance living in both the astral and physical planes of existence.
Further instructions are in the works…
We have Cooper’s Hawks and a Harris Hawk checking us out. There are two Owls hanging out, and lots of Quails running around.
They seem to all be looking for a shamanic gathering to connect with shamans.
A crow found me in Florida. Called out to remind me we are all connected no matter where we are.
I have had red tailed hawks and crows hanging out and getting my attention lately. And hummingbirds. I look forward to this group.
