Om Mani Padme Hum is my favorite chant to share with fellow Light Beings. For me, that invocation is the call to allow the inner light that is our innate guiding wisdom to shine freely. I have a roughly 30-minute version and a 50-minute version of the chant on my YouTube channel – Keshav Howe.
Please listen to the 30-minute version of the playlist: Om Mani Padme Hum – on my YouTube channel.
Please listen to the 50-minute version of the playlist: Om Mani Padme Hum 2 – on my YouTube channel.
Post what comes up for you as you open to the chants’ plea to allow your inner light to be your guiding wisdom! Talk to me directly!! This chant has changed my life and is the driving force behind my choice to accept the name Keshav as a reflection of how some of my teachers and guides have seen and/or experienced me!
In addition: Please share your experience with opening to Om Mani Padme Om with the group of us scheduled to meet from 3 to 5 pm Arizona Time on Saturday, September 16th.
Namaste,
Keshav
The relationship between the lack of thought and the absence of time is direct and immediate. My chanting “Om Mani Padme Hum” also feeds the vibrancy of light that overshadows 90+ percent of repetitive thoughts.
My body/mind senses are more instinctual and rooted in a simple knowing – no need for a knower to filter life through a personal perspective! There is way more going on between the spaces between thoughts as well as between objects.
Chants have always been my favorite go-to for calming down and opening to Peace and Love. I tried the longer chant first and it was so beautiful but surprisingly a little over halfway I felt energy pouring into me. I have had so little energy lately that I decided to “strike while the iron was hot” and got up and got a lot of things done. This will be going onto top of my favorite chants to listen to. Thank you, Keshav.
Om Mani Padme Hum has always been a meaningful chant for me. The words in themselves have an energy that reminds me of What I really Am. This version is particularly beautiful..
In addition, I find that when I chant along, it multiplies the helping and healing vibrations. Chanting in a group also magnifies the experience.
I noticed that my second time hearing the long version all the way through in the meditation spaces there were no thoughts just silence. Thank you, Keshav.
One last post for now. I noticed that my second time hearing the long version all the way through, a group today, that in the “meditation” spaces there were no thoughts just silence. I realized this with that one thought during the break and then returned to silence.
In addition I find then when I chant along, it multiplies the helping and healing vibrations.

I have not listened to these yet here in Taos NM, but I am using it as a chant while trying to get to sleep, which is working! Namaste.
The more I sat with the chants, the more present and peaceful I became. I was no long hooked by what version I was listening to. I also noticed that the longer I listened, the more I opened my heart. It didn’t matter whether I listened to the longer version or a repeating loop of the shorter version – the longer length of “time” allowed for timelessness.
The 30 minute one had a similar feel with a total experience of actually being the chant. A profound oneness with the music and lyrics. Wow. A while new experience of presence. Wow.
I was stressed about deadlines and a meeting I had at work. I kept thinking of all the ways I needed to protect myself from others, plan for every possible scenario. It felt high stakes, that my teaching and methods would be challenged. I felt vulnerable and inadequate. Tense. Pressured. I put the chant on in the morning, and I wrote it on my board in my office when I got there. My mind was totally caught up in worry and protection, but the day went incredibly well. None of the fears came to fruition. It all just *effortlessly* worked out.
Thank you so much for sharing this insight Diane. I had the same experience! I am looking forward to how you and others interface with the 30-minute version of Om Mani Padme Om!!
In listening to OM Mani Padme Hum 2 it was over before it even started. There was no time. Normally I can’t wait for chants to be over with but in this instance I was in heaven during the whole thing. I will listen to this chant more often as I move along in my day at home. It brought me totally into presence.
