When we meet "others" we are really meeting ourselves. The emptiness of you is the emptiness of all living beings. Notice that objects appear within seemingly empty space, yet the space itself remains unaffected.

The "empty" space between us holds us together. Recognizing that completely chances how we appear, and our ability to see ourselves in everyone and everything.

Thank you for giving us the titles of those songs. It seemed the perfect play list and I will create it in my music play lists.

Dance of Wolves by Lorenna McKennitt

When in the springtime of the year
When the trees are crowned with leaves
When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew
    Are dressed in ribbons fair

When owls call the breathless moon
In the blue veil of the night
The shadows of the trees appear
    Amidst the lantern light

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
    Now returning back again
    We bring a garland gay

Who will go down to the shady groves
    And summon the shadows there
And tie a ribbon on those sheltering arms
In the springtime of the year

The songs of birds seem to fill the wood
    That when the fiddler plays
All their voices can be heard
    Long past their woodland days

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
    And now returning back again
    We bring a garland gay

And so they linked their hands and danced
'Round in circles and in rows
And so the journey of the night descends
When all the shades are gone

A garland gay we bring you here
And at your door we stand
It is a sprout well budded out
The work of our Lord's hand

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
    And now returning back again
    We bring a garland gay

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
    And now returning back again
    We bring a garland gay

Thank all of you for helping me settle back into form on Thursday. While "Mummer's Song (Dance of the Wolves)" was playing: there were wolves everywhere – on all sides and within.  We are the Wolves that are the keepers of the light…(Thank you Enya for setting the tone; thank you to Tobias and John for the intense and rhythmic guitar rides back!)

Shortly before my brother “died” visitors came to his hospital room and told him what he needed to do, according to their religious beliefs, before dying. When he next saw me he told me what they had said, looking for my response. I shook my head, dismissing what they had said. My brother was a life long atheist. I told him that the part of him that is real does not die. Period. One day, a little while after he left his body, he played with my lamp, turning it on and off. Finally I said, Nick, stop it! Typical of my brother, he had to do it one more time. He always was a tease.

There are moment of quiet awareness where the awareness perceives my body, senses and mind activity. Who/what is this aware attention that is aware of the daily comings and goings of these impermanent body/minds we identify with as self.
To really know ourselves we must know by experience what we are not. The blank space between thoughts can never be perceived because the mind comes to a stop during the attempt. Therefore, to live what we are is to know clearly what we are not.
Real birth is when we are free of our habit of  identifying ourselves as a personal self that thinks it is nothing, takes form, dies, and then is nothing. Conscious attention has always been here. quite naturally parked in neutral attention.

What if I am already dead now and I am simply dreaming? How would I know? I wouldn’t know would I. Merrily merrily merrily merrily, life is but a dream. Yet I keep on rowing my boat.

It’s clouds illusions I recall, I really don’t know clouds at all.

"What was it like to wake up after never having going to sleep?" We call it birth! Yet…

I strongly suggest putting on a good set of headphones while listening and watching the entire hour "meditation" playlist I named Tuesday. Joe, your laughter at the idea of death, was quite infectious.

Keshav put a Tuesday night meditation together that involved Alan Watts speaking in between musical journeys. The combination felt like a powerful invitation to jump. At one point in particular, the camera pointed to a man sitting in a seat who I believe was a guru, and I started laughing. There was a wordless invitation to see who we all are as one being. I also enjoyed how Alan Watts went beyond just oneness on this plan of existence. He extended that out into all dimensions and realities.

Betty, bet the tree was opening to your energy as well. Seeing ourselves everywhere.

I sat in the shade of a tree while waiting for my car to be ready to pick up. I was enjoying my little square yard of nature when I became aware that I had been slowly relaxing from the tree energy. Other times the feel has been electric. The really are magical beings.

Climbing trees while working with mushroom spirits has always been my jumping off point. That blue energy feels incredibly supportive and vibrant to me. Thank you Betty and Joe, for reminding me that we must find a way to take in life through fresh eyes.

During a mushroom experience ,I saw blue energy connecting everyone in the room. There was an unavoidable magnetic pull accompanied by “we are all one”. I have yet to see the energy like that again, but when I do let go into the “space between” my energetic body relaxes into the feeling of oneness. Trees have been a go to when practicing.

When I and another apparent stranger exchanged words at the grocery store the other day it l intimate but not at all spiritual. Our connection was palpable. What we were saying was trivial, yet I definitely got that “I see you” feeling. (From the movie “Avatar,” I believe. “ I see me through your eyes.”

Watching the empty space between my fingers yesterday I began to see lots of movement going on. Tiny unidentifiable flying objects were vibrating and shooting around and at one point I saw what looked like white smoke curling up between two fingers. I find looking between my fingers held over a solid color color works best for me. Easier to focus on one space before allowing my eyes to lose focus and easier to observe.
