Advanced Studies Group

I created a (members-only) “Advanced Studies” section of the site, where some folks can delve even deeper into the mysteries of our magnificent, shared existence. We will foster a new, more intimate relationship with the intoxicating perfume of everlasting still presence there. Such a fresh, vibrant, yet still, and timeless reflection of the Self is not a state of being that we consciously enter and leave, for it is always here. The key is to stop seeking what we imagine is missing and allow “it” to remain open and accessible. Such ongoing explorations with me and other members are a blessing.

The Advanced Studies member group will meet with me via Zoom for approximately two hours on the third Saturday of every month, to dive further into the collective unknown. The cost of participation in this Ongoing Advanced Studies group is $25 per month.
Every member of the group engages in homework “experiments,” and shares whatever findings and discoveries that arise with other group members. I expect each member to meet with me for a one-on-one review session ($75) at least once a month.

Please let me know if you want to play in a band of ongoing explorers! And, contact me to discuss the payment details.

I will post a Zelle payment link here:

It was a bowing day. At the food store, I silently bowed to the cute baby with her grandfather. My heart warmed. Oh, this bowing is easy. I bow to the person restocking cheese. Oh isn’t that nice? I need cheese and they are putting out cheese. Yes, Namaste, I bow to you, cheese person. Last stop, the checkout line. That’s when I noticed the interaction between the cashier and the customer in front of me. It seemed the customer was having trouble hearing the cashier through the covid plexiglass panel and the aggravated cashier wasn’t helping the situation. Maybe I could be of service. That’s when I remembered I was supposed to bow to this impatient woman snapping at the older woman. Oooooh…it all hit me at once, I caught myself,
I was being judgmental! I was deciding who I would bow to – the complete opposite of the clear and sincere act of bowing
(I see you) and saying Namaste (The divine in me honors the divine in you, I honor you, we are one)
Quick catch, quick release and course correction. I breathed out and sincerely bowed to both (adding Namaste)
Only a few seconds had passed but everything had changed. The energy was peace. Calmly, the cashier walked around the plexiglass to stand by the woman, asking if wanted help. Did she need help getting her groceries to the car? (That’s not a service they offer) Would she like an additional (and free) paper bag! Both heard and seen. So simple yet powerful. Namaste.

    1. The intimate feel of experiencing something self limiting, and then the feel of self judgment about that is old and worn out.

Now is the perfect time to self reflect on the FEEL of shedding that weight! And commit to opening to bow to ourselves before first…

I love this exercise! In doing it I first noticed that I place boundaries between myself and the world around me. And by bowing and silently whispering Namaste to others that barrier falls away. I am no longer separate. It leaves me with a deeper connection to myself, to others and to the world at large. This exercise also made me realize that I feel vulnerable when those boundaries are not in place. Fear of exposure has kept those boundaries in place for a long time. It’s time that they are down for good. Namaste

Sacred bowing and silent Namaste with strangers are electrifying and initially surprising. I snap into the present and out of my stories, worries, hopes and plans. I relax and lower my guard in this period of rising upheaval and anxiety. Appearances of people fade and temptation to type-cast subsides. People are the same at core, even if their cultural-warrior regalia are present and designed to taunt tribalism. I stand a little self-amused, wondering where I’ve been. Responses are unneeded from those who receive my silent gestures, yet there’s an energetic here that calls a tranquility. This also heightens a mirroring of whether my emanations are heart-felt and genuine without conditions. I resolve to be more aware of and kind to me and others. My sacred knowings and cherished spirit-guide animals/plants remind me of the way I want to be in the world, even as larger life enters a time of greater stress and trial. Namaste releases sharing of creative, loving, potential energy into life. Namaste manifests a pathway for me to set aside searching/doubt and to find/regain what ever unites.

Yes, Peter and all, when the bow comes from the heart it sends out a loving energy, regardless of how it is received. And as you have shared, if nothing else, it brings us into that beautiful awareness. And when it is received as a sign of respect the connection is palpable.
