Beliefs Versus Direct Experiences!

Beliefs contradict our direct experiences. For example, as we look at these words there is no looker, there is only looking. Our direct experience is that seeing happens here, zero distance from presence. When this simple observation is followed by the belief driven afterthought, "I am the one seeing these words," duality is created. Ironically, that afterthought is also experienced zero distance from presence. Rooted in the truth of the direct experience of the moment, everything is here; there is no "there." Duality is never actually experienced. The next step is to live our lives in harmony with our direct experiences, rather than following belief driven afterthoughts.
