This is a simple, loving, and powerful way to start the day! Before re-entering the world, the very first thing in the morning, gaze into the eternally loving eyes of the being in the bathroom mirror (or a mirror nearby).
Look out with fresh and innocent eyes – set your intent to leave everything you think you know about the being in the mirror behind. What is noticed, and who seems to notice?

This morning I looked at myself in the eyes ,and told myself “I love you”.

Joe, what a way to start the day! That truly is inspiring as Lori said.
Thursday night, Keshav’s “Love Chants” playlist included the song, In Dreams. The first note stopped me. After hearing, “You are loved…” mind calmed. There was and is a direct connection to my heart, my core – a reflection of spirit talking to spirit. Like looking in a mirror and seeing, feeling and knowing what is seen is so much more than a singular form. It is a connection of love, energy, frequency, spirit. And with that knowing, there was a release of tears.
I spend a lot of time in the morning looking in the mirror to put on my makeup. It is interesting how I see myself differently every day. When I am fully present I love what I see. When I am thinking about how I look I am critical of what I see.
Who I see is beyond my present desire to describe, yet, what I clearly see, what pulls all of my attention, is awareness, being aware. It seems to be more authentic somehow, within a seemingly endless flowing moment. I am deeply grateful, both that it’s there, and that I can see it. I’ve written “I” 4 times already in this post, but it has nothing to do with me, as I see it so clearly in others as well. My trust in it grows and grows as does a silent longing for this pregnant moment when everyone sees it in the mirror too. And as they do, not a single story will seem desirable to them… Like Diane said, present awareing, aware of presence.
