The Issue Of Doubt!

The issue of doubt is important to discuss in relationship with the inquiry work that we do. Doubt is the mind imitating true inquiry by making sure that we stay in the realm of the known, and shows up in the form of cynicism – "what's the use, nothing ever changes". Pure inquiry is the questioning of all the basic assumptions and beliefs that have governed our lives. If we reference thoughts and feelings as a way to determine what is real, we continue to stay in the realm of what is known. So, as you challenge all assumptions and beliefs, do so without knowing what will be found. Are you willing to be surprised by what is revealed as you follow mind to the edge of what is known and leap beyond! Undoubtedly, the residues of the past and the fears of what may appear in the future will haunt you as you partake in that journey – remain present with them and free of all motives to suppress or deny! Without the security of mind, what is discovered! Sit in silence for at least 20 minutes before and/or during any inquiry work!!!!

I am not interested in theories about this quote – what is your direct experience
of what I am sharing!

I look forward to your insights!
