Mindful Zen Meditation divides the world into awareness and objects of awareness. What we are aware of is of little importance. Shamanic journey work is primarily interested in the comforting feel of the experience at the expense of getting entangled in following a storyline. Please note that most of our resources are shamanic, and it is likely to feel like a 60/40 split.

1. Sit alone and silent in a comfortable room in your house. Ease your gaze to a space between two objects of awareness in the room. Now, shift your awareness to your breath and count the exhalation of each breath as one, two, three…
2. Sit back and observe the nature of the thread of feeling, thought, and sensation without getting involved or exploring the storyline. Shamanic journeys follow the thread and see where the subconscious takes it.

4. Regularly making entries into a Gratitude Journal is invaluable in focusing or refocusing my INTENT to stop looking for the ease of being that has been looking for me to welcome it back Home to a place it can never actually leave (just sometimes overlooked).
