Fear is a powerful emotion that sounds an alarm that something that we value may be in danger.
The ideal response to the alert is to shift our attention to the present moment. When the focus of attention shifts to the Now, there can be a clear and unbiased view of the veracity of the imagined threat. I notice that when my body is consciously relaxed; the mind is free to choose an effective response to the alarm. What do you notice?
Embracing Fear…yes, when we shift into the now, we move into the position of observer but it can sometimes be difficult to stay there. It can fluctuate like a candle flame in a breeze. But the other night, when I was experiencing that fluctuation, the visual of my energy body and my physical body merging as one, provided an unexpected opportunity to slide in between. Instantly I was without fear and could hover within the silence of the moment without feeling any fluctuation. It was surprising, I was not trying to manufacture it, it came unexpectedly.
