Shared Inspiration: I will regularly add a few songs that continue to inspire me. Please add to that list and make sure that We can find then on YouTube.

There is no need to stop whatever thoughts arise; like waves on an ocean, they come to rest by themselves…As a “Not-Self” peaceful presence, it lacks a highly personalized, noisy, and thought-filled self. There is a thing that we call a person, with properties distinct from the self, and only the latter does not exist.

Instead, let’s mindfully and consciously make room for an innate wisdom that radiates a “glowing light of clarity and beingness,” that outshines all ambient self-absorbed ignorance and confusion…

I can’t stop a thought with another thought. But if I allow the silence will follow.

I relate this to my art of late, we are diving deep into the Myth of Sedna in a class titled Anchor. I completed a sketch I really didn’t want to complete but I heard as I walked by , add this and add that, along with some of the gruesome transitions Sedna goes through. I needed to see and feel it and put it on paper, not deny it. I had been sitting in the ocean on paper for two weeks with the fish remembering me as a young girl, and needed to complete that. We call it the artist soul talking, which as in life is not always pretty. Namaste.
